Jon BeyerJon Beyer has quickly proven his ability to lead information technology functions for organizations of all sizes. He began his career at the business consulting firm, Andersen Consulting, in information security, then moved on to positions within the CIO organization at Arthur Andersen. He then served as the head of Infrastructure at startup Transora to help build a B2B platform for the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. Jon then helped to strengthen IT operations and customer service for INCISENT Technologies during its growth to the number 4 fastest growing software company in the US in the 2008 Inc. 500 Rankings.
In 2008, Jon decided to turn to the world of non-profits and bring efficient and effective use of technology to an organization with a strong mission, purpose and cause. He currently serves as the Executive for IT at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The ELCA is comprised of over 10,000 congregations and nearly five million members across the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. In his short time with the organization he has many accomplishments that have helped the organization to become more efficient through the use of technology and allowing it to focus on delivering its mission to the world. Jon is currently driving a strategy that promotes an open and collaborative technology platform allowing for more seamless communication across the many parts of the organization as well as more efficient operations for the administrative portions for the ELCA churchwide organization.
Jon grew up in Southern and North-Central Wisconsin, and then moved to Chicago to receive his BS in Mathematics from DePaul University in 1996. He is still a passionate Green Bay Packers fan even after having lived in the Chicago area for over 18 years. He currently resides with his wife Sara and dog Bonnie in west suburban Wheaton.
Jon is proud to be a member of The Men's Club and its Advisory Board, as it is quickly becoming a powerful networking organization that stresses personal relationships and also supports philanthropic causes. He values the connections that the organization can bring to him and its growing membership. Jon is always looking for ways to personally, and through his network, assist others in achieving their personal, professional and charitable goals.
Aaron BrostAaron Brost is the President of Ro-Bro Marketing & Public Relations (www.ro-bro.com), a boutique marketing and public relations firm with expertise in a variety of industries, including food, beverage, travel, entertainment, health and nutrition. The agency develops and executes strategic and innovative marketing and public relations programs that drive brand awareness and buzz. Services include: strategic counsel, media relations, media training, event planning and management, product launches, collateral and press material development issues management and word of mouth marketing.
Prior to founding Ro-Bro, Aaron served as Director of Public Relations at Beam Global Spirits & Wine and oversaw strategic communications planning and execution for the full spirits portfolio, including Jim Beam bourbon & Sauza tequila. In addition to his work in the corporate realm, Aaron spent more than five years at several top public relations agencies, including Weber Shandwick, where he focused on client service, media relations, writing and event planning and execution for leading companies like the Nation's Milk Processors, Kraft Foods, Johnson & Johnson, Pennzoil-Quaker State, Orbitz, Peapod, Radio Flyer and Chart House Restaurants.
A self-proclaimed sports, fitness and nutrition enthusiast, Aaron graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Iowa in Communications Studies and Spanish. In addition to The Men's Club, he is actively involved with the Howard Brown Broadway Youth Mentor Program and the founder of the Chicago PR-TY public relations group.
Aaron doesn't believe networking has to be "work." Rather, an organization like The Men's Club provides an excellent forum for like-minded individuals to meet in an informal environment and to celebrate their passion for their chosen profession. Aaron joined the group in 2009 and sees great potential for future growth.
Keith Kriegler, Senior Business AdvisorKeith Kriegler has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, and brings a wealth of knowledge in helping companies identify new ways to strengthen their position in the marketplace and generate revenue growth.
Keith serves as a marketing consultant to businesses, both entrepreneurial and CPG companies, in the areas of brand strategy and marketing communications. His expertise includes online marketing, CRM, sales promotion, business development and client service.
In addition to his consultancy practice, Keith serves as CEO of Inspiring U, Inc., the parent company of My Dad N' Me, www.mydadnme.com, an innovative site using social media and mobile technology geared toward families with pre-teen kids.
Brian A. MillmanBrian A. Millman graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Small Business Management. He then went to the Gemological Institute of America where he received his Graduate Gemologist and Graduate Jeweler degree. Immediately after graduation, he started working for his family at Shelle' Jewelers, Inc. Shelle' Jewelers is a manufacturing and retail full-service jewelry store that was founded by his grandfather, Sheldon M. Millman. They specialize in custom designs, diamonds and colored stones, repair and restoration of heirloom pieces, maintenance and timing of fine timepieces, and corporate gifts.
Brian lives in Glenview with his wife Dana and their three children, Alexa Shelle, Ella Rose and Hanna Sofia.
Brian finds The Men's Club appealing for a number of reasons. It provides him the opportunity to meet a vast amount of people. Secondly, it provides him the chance to gain networking skills, and lastly, to help others seek out new business. In Brian's line of work, he meets leaders from all types of industries. He believes The Men's Club is a strong group that can make a difference and foresees it giving back to the community with charitable contributions as well.
Sheryl Redman, Managing DirectorSheryl Redman is a management professional with expertise leading teams, programs and projects in a variety of settings. She has extensive experience in employee communication, event management and employee volunteer programs.
Sheryl recently managed marketing and outreach objectives for the Office of the Governor. She built relationships with community organizations, agencies, external vendors and internal design staff to create programs to market and increase enrollment in the State's health care plans.
Prior to working for the State, Sheryl managed employee relations, volunteer participation and marketing projects for LaSalle Bank's (now Bank of America) marquee athletic events including The Chicago Marathon, The Shamrock Shuffle, The LaSalle Bank Half Marathon, LaSalle Bank Open, The LaSalle Bank Columbus Distance Classic, The LaSalle Bank Reeds Lake Run and The LaSalle Bank Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo.
Sheryl graduated from Northern Illinois University. She holds an associate board position for Children's Oncology Services, Inc. and sits on several of their event committees. She also volunteers for Imerman Angels.
Sheryl understands the importance of networking and feels The Men's Club offers a personal touch. She realizes there is a great need for a club like TMC and is excited to be part of it from inception.
Brian SegelBrian Segel began his career in 2005. In 2006, Brian and his father started the law firm of Segel & Segel, P.C.. Since then, Mr. Segel has built a successful general practice based on his dedication to clients and understanding of the law. Brian's general practice serves a diverse client base of both businesses and individuals by combining extensive substantive experience with a successful trial practice. He has extensive experience in real estate and construction law, currently he also represents a variety of commercial and residential developers. Some of his services include prosecuting and defending complex commercial claims, contract disputes, and business litigation. He also helps individuals and companies in dealing with their debt by negotiating with creditors and if necessary filing an appropriate bankruptcy for the client. Brian focuses on a wide variety of business practices and negotiations on behalf of his clients.
Brian received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Ithaca College in New York in 2000. Thereafter, law school took Brian back to Chicago where he was born and raised on the North Shore in Highland Park. Brian attended John Marshall Law School and received his Juris Doctor in 2003.
Brian currently resides with his wife Jillian and his beloved dog Sammy in the River North area of Chicago. He is very active in the community and enjoys working out at Equinox in Lincoln Park in his free time.
The Men's Club is extremely appealing to Brian for a few reasons. (1) It provides him with the ability to reach a large amount of people with both similar and vastly different backgrounds; (2) It provides a forum to facilitate business connections between various business associates, clients, and friends to further their businesses and aspirations; and (3) It provides Brian with the opportunity to meet new people that have or are well on their way to being successful in their individual trades and businesses.
Brian is very excited about The Men's Club organization and charity partner(s) and will have a hand in shaping the group as a member of the advisory board.
Jesse SpunginJesse Spungin is a Vice President of Shopper Marketing for ConAgra Foods and is currently responsible for managing marketing activation at retail for all Consumer Foods Brand across all Sales Channels. Jesse and his team have grown substantial returns over the last year for both customers and ConAgra Foods as part of a total Integrated Customer Marketing Team.
The ConAgra Foods Shopper Marketing team across the country has leveraged Shopper insights and has created shopper marketing programs specific to retailers in several channels and has been able to see the impact in changes in shopper behavior but qualitatively and quantitatively. The results have lead the ConAgra Foods organization to be even more committed to Shopper Marketing both short and long term.
Prior to leading the Shopper Marketing Team at ConAgra Foods, Jesse was a Vice President of Marketing for ConAgra Foods and responsible for managing the Chef Boyardee, Healthy Choice Soup Brand equities which is a billion dollars in retail sales. Jesse and his team grew the Chef Boyardee business unit double digits in both volume and profit over the past three years. Chef Boyardee is one of the largest strategic business units owned by ConAgra Foods.
Also while at ConAgra Foods Jesse held various positions on specialty businesses such as Wolf Brand Chili, Dennison's Chili and Ranch Style Beans.
Before joining ConAgra Foods in 2000, Jesse led the marketing efforts for other well know national consumer brands such as Bazooka Bubble Gum, Ring Pops, Push Pops and Crunch & Munch popcorn. Jesse has also held management positions in Sales, Operations and Trade Marketing.
Jesse holds an Executive MBA from the Graziadio School of business at Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University.
Jesse is originally from the East Coast and currently lives in Chicago with his wife Tracy and dog Scoop, where he sits on the nonprofit board of Youth Outreach Services and is a member of the AMA.
Jesse was drawn to The Men's Club because he believes in the power of connections and achieving great things with a team.

Boris UmanskyBoris Umansky is an attorney specializing in trademark, copyright, trade secret and unfair competition counseling and litigation. He has substantial experience in the clearance, registration, maintenance and enforcement of trademarks and copyrights, as well as with domain name disputes. Boris represents clients in a wide range of industries, such as insurance and financial services, industrial technology products, serious games software, and consumer products. He handles oppositions, cancellations, and ex parte appeals at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board level, and has represented clients before various United States courts.
In addition to his prosecution and litigation practice, Mr. Umansky performs due diligence work on behalf of clients intending to purchase or divest businesses. He negotiates and prepares settlement agreements, co-existence agreements, licenses and assignments, and has instructed clients on proper usage of trademarks and copyrights.
Prior to joining Leydig, Voit & Mayer, Boris practiced in the area of intellectual property law at Davis McGrath LLC in Chicago. He also spent approximately two years in the Washington, D.C. area working as a Trademark Examining Attorney with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) where he obtained valuable experience relating to the trademark prosecution and examination process, including successfully defending his decisions through appeal briefs and oral arguments before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Boris is the sole author and publisher of IPLegalLounge.com, a web log that reviews decisions rendered within the Seventh Circuit federal and state courts pertaining to trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and related areas. He is active in several legal associations, and is fluent in Russian and conversant in French.
Boris received a Political Science and French degree from Indiana University. He received his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law.
